This has not been officially confirmed as yet, but the news from our contacts in South America tell us that an invitation has been made by the Argentine Rugby Union for Wales to play two Test matches in July 2021. There will also probably be a Test against Uruguay.

We did of course have a very successful tour to Argentina in 2018, so this invitation coming so soon after that tour was a bit of a surprise. However it does give us the opportunity of arranging a different itinerary to include other South America countries such as Chile or Brazil. Whatever we do though, we will certainly include another visit to Patagonia – and I’m told there is the possibility of Wales playing one of the Test matches there!
